An app where people arrange to meet has to take care of two things: who can see you, and what happens to your data.

Profile

Delete takes this person out of your feed and out of your chats, and takes you out of theirs. Nobody is told.
Delete this person
Report sends this profile to us so we can look at it. It also deletes the person.

- You can report anyone from their chat or profile. Anyone you delete loses the chat with you and cannot write to you again.
- Location, roughly
- We show who is nearby, never a distance or an address. Without a location you don't appear for others, and they don't appear for you.
- Data in Europe
- Accounts, messages and photos are stored on EU servers (Stockholm) and processed under the GDPR. Push notifications are delivered through Google Firebase.
- No tracking on this site
- This website sets no analytics cookies and embeds no ad networks. That is why no banner is asking you for anything.
Questions
The short answers.
What does KOSMO cost?
Nothing. The app is free, there are no ads and no subscription.
Is this a dating app?
No. It is about finding someone to do something with — coffee, a concert, a run. What comes of it is up to you.
Who can join?
Anyone 18 or older.
Where does KOSMO work?
Everywhere. KOSMO has no country or city limits: it shows you the people within about 10 km of where you are right now, anywhere in the world. The more people join near you, the more you will find.
Do I have to share my location?
Yes. Without it we cannot show you anyone nearby, and you will not appear for anyone else either.
Who can message me?
Only people who liked the same activity for the same day as you – a new chat can't start any other way. If you don't want to hear from someone, delete them: the chat disappears for both of you and they can't write to you again.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete account, then type DELETE. It happens at once and cannot be undone: your profile, photos, chats, messages and likes are removed.
